How much does it cost to get in?
On a week day race meeting it costs $6 per adults and $3 concession and child. For the Winter Racing Carnival the packages vary and these are usually available to purchase from the 1st June.
What time does the first race start?
It depends on how many races are held on the race day. They usually start just after 12. Gates open at 11am.
What transport facilities are available to get to the Townsville Turf Club?
There are a couple of options available. Townsville Taxi’s or Sunbus if you catch the 2A or 2C service will take you to the Wulguru set of lights and its walking distance to the Townsville Turf Club just let the driver know when you are getting on.
Can I bring my own food and alcohol?
Individual sandwiches, individual packs of processed cheese, dip spreads and biscuits, pieces of fruit, special individual dietary needs foods and individual drinks including flasks of tea and coffee. Large groups are permitted to bring in sealed packets of chips, nuts and biscuits. You are not permitted to bring in your own alcohol.
When will Winter Racing Carnival tickets be on sale?
Winter Racing Carnival tickets will be on sale from 1st June.
