Michael Charge - Chief Executive Officer

Michael has been with the Townsville Turf Club for over 2 years, he came to Townsville from Brisbane where he spent 2 years with Ambassador Travel Services as a Senior Travel Consultant/Tour Planner. Prior to this Michael spent most of his life in Bundaberg and had worked in the travel industry for over 12 years.

His passion is racing, and he has been involved in the racing industry since his childhood, Michael's knowledge and dedication for the industry drives his enthusiasm and ambition, to make the Townsville Turf Club one of the premier provincial racing and training facilities in Australia. Michael has experienced the racing industry from all facets from the grass roots of preparing and handling thoroughbreds, to a committee member and President of the Bundaberg Race Club.
